Imagine his presence in the ads + his impish charm as Brandon + some DC-like grit = perfect Bond.

Newest "news" (take with a pinch of salt) is that Kevin Costner has been cast as Pa Kent. Interesting if this Snyder/Nolan production will use huge names for the supporting cast à la Batman-style. It will give Henry the opportunity to work with and learn from big stars. I originally thought KC was a little too young for portraying Henry's father, but I actually like the choice - if true.

Costner's in his 50s though so it is technically possible and that fact that he's not their biological kid anyway I suppose means they can do what they want to that way. I like the idea of having him on board. I would suspect they'll fill it out quite well with names, Snyder's pretty good with his casting choices going by his other films so I'd be surprised if he really cocked it up. That said we don't know if or how they're going the Lex Luthor route or anything yet

I'm not too happy about the whole Kevin Costner choice, he is a weak actor and I heard he is a real jerk on set.

^Me too. Is it new? I've never seen it before. I wonder where Henry is atm? If he's in LA training for Superman, I'm shocked there hasn't been any sightings of him.

Not new, I've had it hanging about forever, I have all sorts of crap lurking about on my computer!! I can't imagine he'd be training for Superman just yet, my guess is he's either disappeared back home to Jersey to hide out for a while or he's stuck doing post-production bits and bobs for Immortals or Cold Light of Day. I sort of like that he's low key, I hope he doesn't become too over exposed tbh, I know that means fewer photos but it's nice having him sort of tucked away lol

I'm just happy to hear he's going to be filming in Vancouver (Snyder filmed a couple of his movies here).

I'm still anxious about the female roles like the "female lead" and Lois (from whatever the constant rumours are). Apparently they want an unknown actress for Lois Lane to not overshadow Henry (as if!) .

In the EW article, it sounded like Snyder wanted him to hit the gym asap. He does need to bulk up for the character and that takes time too. I wouldn't be surprised if he was already training. I do love that he's low-key, but the papz take pictures of whoever really and him being cast as Superman was definitely news.
