Henry Cavill Supports The Troops! Visits Air Force Base And Signs Autographs!

The Man of Steel is showing he can be a hero in real life too!
Henry Cavill visited the Edwards Air Force Base to visit modern day heroes while taking a break from the Superman set on January 31st.
Over 100 Airmen came to get autographs and have photogs snap pictures of them with Cavill.
The Englishman said the following on his visit:

I have such great respect for military members and what they do. It's important that they know how valuable their service is. It is a pleasure to tell them how much they're appreciated.
The Man of Steel is filming on base and Airmen were extras and provided logistical support.

An anonymous source has leaked an image of what appears to be a promotional poster for the upcoming Superman readaptation, Man of Steel.

Thanks to an anonymous scooper, we’ve gotten our hands on one of the first posters from next year’s DC Comics reboot Superman: Man of Steel, directed by Zack Snyder and starring Henry Cavill as mild mannered reporter, Clark Kent. In this one-sheet, the first we’ve seen of it’s kind, Superman faces off against an army of Helicopters, a shadowy Zod (Michael Shannon) and what looks to be a robot, of which we’ve heard little about. This is by no means an official poster that we can verify, and may not even find its way into a theater, but it’s clearly real, and could be one of many.

Man of Steel, which is directed by Zack Snyder, and stars Henry Cavill, Diane Lane, Kevin Costner, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Michael Shannon, and Russell Crowe, flies into theaters June 14, 2013.

NEW PROJECT

Henry Cavill may be heading to the Far East for his next project.

The 28-year-old actor is in negotiations to star in The Great Wall, a movie about “the mystery behind how China’s Great Wall was constructed,” according to Variety.
