To be honest I don't think it's quite suitable for a guy - I mean, the shape, size, and details are all quite feminine. I also can't imagine how something with such a simple (and unremarkable) construction can justify a price tag of 2 grand.

For that price (if I could ever remotely afford it, that is) I'd go get myself a Bottega Veneta handmade deerskin messenger. Now that's the ultimate men-purse .

I'm intrigued!
I've only seen BV's deerskin stuff for women...and wow is it nice
...But I've never seen any of their men's things!
Could anyone provide a picture of said messenger bag??

Arena Homme Plus F/W '02 has a pic of the messenger I'm referring to, but it's in suede instead of deer skin. Sorry, I know that's not exactly helpful.

It's a really clean shape with a flap, and two straps, one to be worn over your shoulder, the other goes across your waist to "stablize" the bag. It's BEAUTIFUL.
