Model Profile Holly Rose



It was an absolute pleasure shooting with New Zealand’s amazing new face Holly Rose. At only 17 years old and after 1 year in the business, Holly is tipped to be the next big thing.

Where did you grow up?
Auckland, New Zealand

How were you discovered?
I walked into my now mother agency red eleven and asked how you get started in modelling and the rest is history!

What do you love most about your job
It is hard to put my finger on one particular thing. I love that it’s such a creative field and you meet such lovely and creative people. I love that I get to be a different character with every shoot I get to be apart of. I love my job.

What is the strangest/ funniest/ craziest thing that has happened to you on set?
The craziest time on set was when I got to prance around on top of mount aspiring in Wanaka for a shoot for Harpers Bazaar Australia because we were in the first snow and I was in bare legs but it was so amazing. I am so lucky to have seen such a beautiful part of my home country.

If you could shoot with anyone in the world dead or alive who would be it?
I have always admired Gemma Ward and would really love to work with her or if I could go back in time and shoot with Marilyn Monroe, she was so effortlessly beautiful and chic.

What are 3 things that no one would know about you?
I have to keep some mystery! but my teddy bear is my traveling companion, I used to be on the larger side of the weight scale and I love to knit.
