Post your house sketches, like floor plans and home plans, here. I have so many stored on my hard drive, I figured I should create a thread and share them all with you.

One of my all time favorite home plans. I have it printed out and in my room, along with a whole slew of other plans, so I can look at them whenever.

OH god I love looking at floor plans
I just get giddy thinking what furniture is going to go where and I picture myself living in it. Love imagining what if would be like.

Actually in my Architecture class we got to make floor plans and make blueprints, I'll try and scan mine.

I can't find the floor plans for this, sorry! This is another sketch I adore; I'm not sure how practical the house is, but the drawing is fantastic. I knew I should have saved the blueprints, because now the plan has been taken off the website.

That'd be even better for me, since I love lighthouses!

A lot of homes near me are built in this style. I'm sort of on the fence about it, but to all their own I guess.

When I was younger, my parents were really involved with houses and house plans because they spent around 2 years on and off looking for a new house... so as a kid I went along with them alot...eventually they built another house when I was around 14, and then we moved again...well to make a long story short, my parents always like looking at houses, renovating, and moving so since I was about 8 or so I used to draw house plans and houses thinking I wanted to be an architect. Now i'm not so sure and will probably never do it, but I have a binder in my room somewhere with stuff i've drawn between the ages of 13 and 16 that I haven't thrown out yet...

also maybe that one with the "grid" ceiling..--i forget the term you called it

would be interesting how they translate these specific characteristics into blueprints
as symbols
for like vaults , barrels , doors ...

My favorite sort of house plan. Same features as a normal house, but with less space. Perfect for those compact lots.
