i dont know where to go!! someone told me to go to buffalo exchange.. i didnt find ANYTHING...

It's been many years since I lived in Houston, but I used to frequent the Goodwill and Salvation Armies there. Like with anything in Houston, it will require a fair amount of driving on your part because these are located in the older, more run-down parts of town (still safe, though). In addition, if you look up "Thrift" and "Secondhand Stores" in the local yahoo directory for Houston, it usually comes up with a good list.

Keep in mind too that the stock in thrift stores is constantly changing. If you go back to Buffalo Exchange in a few weeks, you'll find new stuff.

I live in Houston! And I love vintage shopping! There are many places to go besides Buffalo Exchange. Across the street, there's Taxi Taxi, Leopard Lounge.

But for really fabulous stuff, I suggest you check out Retropolis (The Heights area)!!! It is the best vintage store! I just spent $655 there a couple of days ago. They have amazing stuff at great prices.

Don't forget to check out antique stores too, like the Antique Pavillion (Montrose area) and Antique Marketplace (I-10)

Good luck!
