How long are shops open in your country?

Most shops in Vancouver, Canada..depending which mall will be 9am-5pm On Sun, Mon, Tues, Sat. But on Wed, Thurs, Friday its more like 9am-9pm

Designer shops are usually open around the same time, although on certain days like sunday they open later, or other days they close later, or earlier by 1-2 hours.

In Sydney most boutiques open Mon, Tue, Wed, Frid, Sat 930-6pm and stay open til 9pm on Thursdays. Sundays most boutiques open around 11 or 12 and close at 5pm. I'm cool with that but would definately love them to open 24/7!

bondi was open 24/7 right b4 xmas but its not like im gunna go shoppping at 3 am in the morning.

in Milan designers stores open 10-19 and monday morning are closed, while other shops are closed sunday and monday morning, and open 9.30-12.30 and 15.30-19.30..not a good time...

In the UK, for big dept stores and large shops llike Topshop, Urban Outfitters it's usually Mon-Sat 10-8pm, then till 9pm on Thurs. On Sunday, it's something like 10-6pm. I hear Topshop has plans to open 24/7 this year though.....haha....that will be hilarious.

Smaller boutiques can vary - some like to open REALLY late and and some close early or are closed on Mondays. Most boutiques are closed by 7.

In Hong Kong, we are a bunch of night shoppers - most stores are open from 10-10/11. The trendy malls (and there are quite a few!) don't bother opening up till about 2/3 on weekdays because they are only catering to students who go night shopping after school and they close at around 1am!

On Christmas and NYE, these malls actually specifically close later.

In KL, shops are open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.,
For stores like Chanel, Cartier, Bvlgari and Louis Vuitton, they usually open at 10.30 and closes at 9.30p.m. and they are always open on holidays as well.

In Stockholm, the stores are open on mondays to saturdays from about 10 to 18.30-19.00 (6.30-7pm)
and on sundays it's mostly 10 to 16 (4pm)

so what's with Paris?
I loved to shop in the night in Paris.. but is it just one night a week? or is it only some stores?
I'm so jealous of all Parisians
