How much would you pay for this D&G - Crepe Halter Dress?

If it were on sale - what is the magic number that would make you buy?

* 150 dollars max (D&G is considered not exclusive where i come from, tehrefore cheaper)
* 20 dollars
* the normal price

:lol: D&G is considered non-exclusive everywhere.......i once saw a homeless man with a D&G wooly hat on

I don't think any of those items are that special. I'd wear the black dress, but I wouldn't buy it, because non-exclusive or otherwise, D&G is too expensive for me. Chalk it off the list of even remote possibilities. Hell, Ann Taylor is too expensive for me. I would make a dress like that, if I needed a dressy black dress, but I already own two black dresses that I like a lot (one vintage 1950s wool for winter, one contemporary, stretchy/springy lycra tee-shirt affair for summer).

I wouldn't buy the off-shoulder top because I don't find them comfortable. I have wide shoulders, and the necklines of those won't ever stay put on me--they tend to sproing upwards whenever I move my arms.

The bluejeans I wouldn't buy either. Firstly, I don't wear skinny-leg bluejeans. My legs are too thick and muscular, so they never fit, and even if I do shoehorn into them, I look like I am perambulating about on a pair of indigo sausages. Secondly, I don't like light-blue denim. Thirdly, I am sure they are way too expensive for me. $50 is the outer limit I would even consider paying for a pair of bluejeans, and you can usually get a decent pair of reliable, classic, Levis for around $30.

uh, I got all my sevens for under 50 bux :)
They are out there

:lol: incredible! anyway if you wannna something exclusive you should look for DG (1st line) and NOT D&G (the 2nd one).

Presumably Dolce e Gabbana is more expenisve than &, J&ans and D&G, yes?

i believe so.. i think D&G is considered their younger, more contemporary line... perhaps like marc by mj is to marc jacobs

the D&G dress is really nothing special, you can get a similar no name one for $50 I guess? I would pay at most $100 for it.
the black top, $50.
jeans, $0 because I almost never wear jeans.

this is how dolce&gabbana is organized:

1. dolce&gabbana (first line - very good)
2. D&G (second line - something ok for everyday life but nothing special)
3. & (third line - the worst, the poor man's style... like "I wanna look rich but I am not")

I love DG (1st line), but watch out for the D&G belts. I like 'em for everyday life: fluo colors and a very nice "thing that closes the belt whose name I ignore" ahah :lol:

Hmm I've heard of the & line but i've never seen anything from it...
I also wouldn't pay any more than about 50 USD for the D&G dress...no more than about 30 for the top and same with the jeans (I'm not big on designer jeans...)

It would depend on how much I liked it and how good it looked on.

Jeans that fit well are priceless, no matter what brand they may be.
