This is really too much, they could have pruned a lot of it in favor of the few that were actually pretty good. Then agian some of the good ones don't scream summer at the same time, but of a mess but at least its not a total disaster. From first to last its to get better.

They could have easily cut most of the covers and editorials. Mona and Anok's are my favorite although the latter isn't very summery

Only the Anok's & Mona's main stories save this issue, both editorials are amazing. The rest are a bunch of garbage, i see the Anna's edit & is one of her worst works as a model & a few photos of the Irina's feature looks a Instagram or any social network photoshoot for example.

Why do they use a huge production team for the Instagram editorial?

It's why I don't keep with i-D anymore. Somehow I feel they try to badly rehash what they did back in the 90s and early 00s - but without people who actually made magazine great and cutting edge. Vice buying them was final nail in the coffin. The fact they still try to pose as totally alternative style magazine is laughable, since they were part of fashion mainstream for years already. Same for Dazed.

Alternate covers used to be fun back in the day but these are just so mediocre and why they made 7 of them? I get 4 maximum, but not seven.

They need to let go of Alistair McKimm as the editor. Every issue looks the same... boring and dull.
