I-Pod Nano

I saw this the other day. Seriously, I already lose my Mini Ipod, this one would disappear before I get it out of the box.

Haha, my friend lost his in the couch first day he had it.

Its soooo tiny, and fits in my wallet.

Im not going to get one....in a few months time they will have something like, The lightweight nano, or the ipod with the camera...so I guess if you buy this you will just want the next one-ill stick with my mini

Seriously! They'll aways come out with something new... next it will have radio and GPS qualities. I'd lose that lil' thing somewhere... plus, by the time you buy a little clip to clip it to your pants for jogging, it's now back to the mini size... so who cares:innocent:

I love my mini and I love that it holds 1500 songs.

I guess for all us mini owners, we wont be the muggers target anymore...it will be the nano's :ninja:

BTW, there's been some changes for Nano, so I suggest you read the reviews before buying one. There are several things that turned me off. One is that there is no firewire cable, only a USB cable. So, if you don't have USB 2.0 (which if your computer is more than 1-2 years old, you probably don't), the transfer rate is VERY slow. Another is that the battery life is shorter than that of the Mini, which is way too short to begin with.

It's still a gorgeous toy though :woot:

I almost bought an Ipod mini today, the salesman told me that the battery life is not good. There is currently a law suit against Apple because the batteries die after three months of use. Does anyone know about the law suit? I still want the nano, but I am weary of the battery life.

JR1's posted made me notice this...Apple releases a new Ipod in synch with the fashion shows. The Shuffle came out in late January and this one comes out in mid-September. It seems like Apple is marketing Ipod's like handbags, a new one every season...

It's cute. I went to the Apple store with my bf to get it, but it was sold out.

But if you get it online, you get free engraving. He engraved his name on it, which makes it harder for me to steal. :ninja:

Cameras, maybe. Radios, I doubt. It's always apple's policy to make mp3 players, not radios.

Three months? That's ridiculous. I heard of one year, but three months?
I had my iPod for two years an the battery is still rockin'. (The following is what my dad said, I don't know if it's 100% correct, but he is pretty technics-savvy so I trust him.) The lithium-ions batteries stand about 1000 COMPLETE charging circles. If you wanted to break your battery in one year, you'd have to charge it COMPLETELY twice daily, in three months that'd me eight complete charges daily, which is impossible. If you even charge it just once completely every day, which is pretty unlikely too, it'll hold up three years.

The battery life is 14h, right? My mini's is 8h so it's still better. The newer minis have 18h so it's not a huge difference between those and the nano, but I agree that that to, is too short.

14hr for what? I listen to like 3 albums and it's dead. Official battery life is ALWAYS overstated.

I hate it. My brother brought the IPod Nano 4GB Black about a week ago and he is fed up with it already. He says it has poor battery life and the music is blocky.

I think I will be sticking with my Pink Creative Zen Micro!

Does anyone know about the law suit against Apple regarding battery life? The salesperson at Best Buy told me thousands in the US have filed complaints.
