Ilvie Wittek (DNA) - the girls being stuck in the never ending new face status for at least 2 years did finally have her runway breaktrough! - To see her show up at Marc Jacobs, Prada, Missoni, Versus, Alberta Ferretti and Louis Vuitton made us happy and Iris Strubegger not feel so alone since she had been the only Austrian Model dominating the international runways until Ilvie popped up. In a way, we have high wrought expectations on Ivlie, reffering to the quality of her print work she scored before having put one feed on the runway, e.g. Dazed Confused & Vogue UK, we are certain to see this epic blonde in some further high end magazines or maybe even in a campaign.

WWD just did a story on Michelle Lee of KCD. To go along with it they had Michelle pick four models and Ilvie is one of them.

“What I hear most often from clients is that they want models with personality and energy,” continues Lee, who hand-picked the four young women in this portfolio to represent her vision of the direction beauty is taking today. “There is no room for boring or conventional. Even if a model is classically beautiful, she must come with an attitude that is anything but.”
