Inseam Length Standards

Have "standard" lengths gone up? Banana Republic petite pants now have a 30" inseam. It was 29 1/2" a season or two ago.

I have also found that "regular" lengths have gone up too. Most of the pants I still have from the late 90s don't require alterations if I wear heels.

i have also noticed that inseam sizes have increased in general in the past few years. i hope it doesn't increase anymore, otherwise, i will need to alter every pair of pants that i buy.

i mean some denim companies are making jeans witn 36" inseams...
