I love Vika Gazinskaya, and her hair. The Sartorialist does a great job of explaining why it works - the flipped idea of sharp clothes, soft hair with sharp hair, soft clothes. There should be a thread though for her designs.

The coiffure, created by New York hairstylist John Hall, is, according to Dolly, the neatest one she ever had. Dolly combs her hair out every other day, then with a comb and brush she arranges every curl in place. Of course she sleeps without a pillow so her hair won't be mussed through the night.

And here is a front view of Dolly Dawn, radio singer of the Bob Hawk show, with her 11-inch hair-do. Here she wears a circlet of pearls fastened at back with a black velvet ribbon.
