I dislike Michael's acting but I'll probably pick this up just for DVN, and to see what Kim Gordon asked.. and ignore what Chloé answered .

One eye is looking at me, the other eye is looking for me. Or maybe it's looking inwards in a bout of manly introspection, but I don't get the fuss about Fassbender, so he just looks cross-eyed to me.

LOVE IT. The fire looks surprisingly cool and I usually hate these type of gimmicks. Michael does not look like himself, but that's a good thing tbh.

The way the shadows hit his eyes makes him look slightly cross-eyed. Kind of a shame because other than that it looks really good.

Still, it's Michael Fassbender, and if I were the type to squee this would be the occasion for me to do so.

What a stud. Though, I agree it was a bit difficult to recognize him. His jaw is much softer here.

He was in X-Men : First Class also, playing Magneto. That's probably his biggest role to date that you might have seen him in.

Thought it was Christian Bale. Definitely love the portrait without the flames. But I understand that having the flames against the stark B&W portrait stands out so strongly will get more notice on the stands, and have a passersby pick it up. And that's the whole point, isn't it?
