I agree with you Miss Dalloway on the first cover-- but, in this instance, it also works because the composition, color-palette and and her glance are strong. They pulled it off.

I love Hannelore Elsner and I think her cover is fantastic!

The second cover does nothing for me. Looks too much like something you would see on the US version of the magazine, except that the lighting is really unfortunate here and makes it look very amateur-ish. I don't really see why they have two covers for this issue anyway, kind of unnecessary.

Really, that actress cover gives me chills, I dont know who she is but it makes me apreciate her a lot. I dont know theres just something magnetic about this cover.
