Although I loved the looks, before I saw the capes I was worried Naoki had sold out. But now that I see the flower pins and crazy drapery he's being as weird and impractical as ever. Good ole Naoki.

Yes, it is a little too much, but it's runway and things tend to be a little exaggerated IMO.

Do you really determine the price by the materials used ? Sometimes, I got a feeling they set the price based on how much their target consumers are willing to spend on the items. Like $300 a tee, $1000 a jacket.

Well, the price is somewhat determined by the fabric (i.e. leather will inevitably be more expensive than nylon), but you have a good point, of course. That is why I said that it'll be that much because it's outerwear, and not necesserily because it's nylon .
