Pictures of Ms. Lee Ji-Eun ("IU") at The 56th Baeksang Arts Awards, on June 5th, 2020, at The Korean International Exhibition Center (KINTEX), 23 km (14 miles) outside Seoul, South Korea.

There was no audience because of the COVID-19 pandemic, only the nominees for the awards categories attended, sitting 2 meters apart from each other. IU was nominated for Best Actress for Television, for her lead role in "Hotel del Luna", too bad she didn't win.

The prestige of Baeksang Arts Awards in South Korea is equivalent to The Golden Globes in the United States, it is quite highly regarded in the Korean entertainment industry. -- Baeksang Arts Awards - Wikipedia

A note on the dress IU wore at the ceremony, GUCCI Spring Summer 2020 heritage GG lamé gown ($3,500 for the short version).

With IU's popularity as a singer and an actress in South Korea, she has received multiple commercial offers from various brands -- foods and beverages, fashion, mobile phone games, and more.

IU is among Korean celebrities who have great images and reputations, and I am not shy to say I am a fan of IU, both for her songs and the films she has starred in.

This is a compilation of the commercials, and a major fashion magazine cover story (W Korea April 2020) that IU has modeled for, from one of her fan pages on Facebook.

"Twenty-Three, IU" -- Cover story for Marie Claire Korea December 2015.

Photographer -- MOK Jungwook
Fashion Editor -- CHOI Ja-Young
Hair Stylist -- Seoyun
Make-up Artist -- Shinae Lee

A youthful IU at the time, certainly looks great, but I also like the currently more mature IU.

Seoyun is IU's personal hair stylist, and Shinae is IU's personal make-up artist, they are doing great work.

The story behind the photoshoot and interview was that, Mr. Choi Baek-Ho and IU collaborated on a track titled, “Walk With Me, Child”. The song portrays a story about a man and a child who rely on each other to become chatting companions, such that they can share their heartbreaking stories together.

With English translation of the lyrics, "Walk With Me, Child (Girl)".

IU Instagram updates -- 06/25/2020

IU thanks one of her fans for sending a coffee truck to the filming set of "Dream" (current working title), a Korean feature film that is set to be released in 2021.

"Dream" is about a Korean soccer player (played by actor Park Seo-Joon), who coaches a Korean soccer team made up of homeless people, and led them to Homeless World Cup. IU is one of the lead cast members for the film.
