-Hello Ivan, welcome to CoverMen Mag, to start this interview off, please give me some background information of Ivan Noda, Spanish Model
I was born in Santa Cruz de Tenerife (Canary Islands), an amazing island and the best place to live. My family is from Canary islands except my Grandfather who was born in Asturias (North of Spain). I have a super dog called Lukas, he is the best. I studied Tourism in the university of Tenerife and later I did a MBA master in Tenerife too. Now I'm living in Barcelona with some old friends from Tenerife and some new friends from the rest of Spain, very nice people.
-What do you remember about your school days, did you have many friends and what was your favorite subject?
My school days were happy, playing basketball, practicing surf and always enjoying with my friends. My favourite subject was Maths.
-How and when did your modeling career begin?
It all started when a friend called me and started to talk about a manager from Barcelona called Eduardo Sayas (Sight Management Studio) who wanted to know me and represent me. Later on I travelled to Barcelona and after meeting Eduardo I started my modeling career.
-Do you remember your first photo shoot and did you feel comfortable in front of the camera?
My first photo shoot was for a famous brand of beauty products for Men. I was very nervous but was excited too so I guess it wasn't that bad!! The pictures turned out to be really nice.
-What kind of assignments, as a model, do you prefer?
I enjoy working with all kinds of assignments, I love my career!
-On the fashion industry: who are the people that you really loved to work with so far?
Mario Testino, I love his work.
-Do you have any aspirations or goals outside of your own modeling career?
Of course, I wish I can open my own business in the future.
-Tell me something about yourself and your hobbies, how do you usually spend your free time?
I'm a funny person. I like spending time with my friends and enjoying life with my favorite sports such as surf. As I mentioned before, I love practicing sports: running, surfing, cycling... I also like music, cinema, and spending time reading good books.
-Your favorite female model?
Giselle Bündchen
