I adore Chloë, but the still lifes are so much stronger - they're amazing. He should have taken the leap, ditch the B&W portraits and go completely abstract.

I totally agree.

I love Chloe, too, but I'm sort of tired of these kind of disjointed campaigns and editorials. Would be so much stronger to stick with one concept and stand behind it. It's so much more attractive and confident. And you're right...the still life pictures are really gorgeous and evocative.

I love the abstracts stills. They are perfect. They reminds me so much of the Paco Rabanne under Dossena campaign. So much life and quite eye-catching.

The Sevigny one is cute but i feel like she is a bit of an obvious choice for any "edgy" "not to mainstream" brand. She has been associated with this kind of brands so much in the past 15 years that she is a bit of a cliché...

Love both sets of images, but not together. His diptychs for Miu Miu with Natalie Wrestling and Estella Boersma was executed far better because one could easily link them together. Besides that, the Hawkesworth/Anderson duo are one of the very few (along with Luchford/Michele) in fashion who actually still try to push themselves for something different every season. I've nothing against Chloe personally, but she always reminds me of her awful character in Dogville, lol.

Good going, Jamie… for doing something new other than your usual sea-nymphs coming out/going into the water. And for making such sh*t designs look so great with the Chloe portraits. Everything works beautifully in these ones: The mood, Chloe's attitude, the composition, the new logo and its placement on the layout. Gorgeous.

The abstract ones are so obnoxiously arty and try-hard— back to the gimmicky J.W., I see. Sigh...
