yes tortoisie - when Jacquetta turned 15 in 1997 - she was at the family's luxury holiday house in Tangiers Morocco, when she was introduced to Stephan Jansen (an Italian designer) by her mother Tessa (who is a photographer).

Her mother's a photographer too! I guess some people are just surrounded by talented people 
but i'm glad she got "discovered", she's fantastic at modelling and is definitely built for it! 
BTW, does anyone know if Jacquetta is still with Alex - the photo assistant? <-- is that his name?

Most British people would think her voice is snobby! Didn't it say on the previous page she was discovered at her family's luxury villa? tortoisie - I've got a bit of a Pommie (English) accent - but its not really snobby at all!!! Most Pomms speak in a down-to-earth manner (not like the Queen)! Its just not cool any more to talk too POUESH!!
I think Karen Elson's Manchester accent is really cool! B) On the other hand, I think our Jacquetta is a Posh Pomm - who was definitely born with a silver spoon in her delicate little mouth!!!
But I still think she's a great model though! As for me, I personally love listening to all the Aussie models from Downunder!!! B) I just love that Australian accent don't you know!!!

blingbling, i'm glad you like the Australian accent, but i dont think i've got that much of it. hahaha... Or do i subliminally have it? Who knows?ButYES! I think Karen is so well-spoken, her "accent" is great. Not too posh, but definitely very elegant and wellspoken! Just great!
BTW, I was watching "What not to wear", do Susanna & Trinny have down-town British accents? Is that the definition of it?
