On the other hand, I did read a recent interview, and they asked him whether his girlfriend prefered short of long hair and he replied: Kirsten prefers it long.

I was soooooooooo sad. The only reason why I watched the Globes was to get a glimpse of Jake. Too bad he didn't come.

i think its absolutely devastating. he was cheated out of an award. i REALLY hope he was doing something extremely important monday night, because if he just chose not to be there out of anger, resentment, cowardice, whatnot that is all the more devastating that he wasn't there to support his group - brokeback mountain - winning four awards that made people cry everytime its nominations were announced [that would be me]. i wish so badly he had been there with them to celebrate all of their amazing project.

that has to be a cop-out story. Generally directors will adjust the filming schedule by a few hours to accomidate an actor going to the 2nd most important awards show. especially since it promotes the movie they're currently filming
