yeah my face was overwhelmed with blood, emotion, something when i saw the nomination so though i lost control of it i think tears welled at some point.. then like the next day, still overjoyed, i realized that he's on that level now where his stalkerazzi publicity will only look small to what comes next and EVERY american's idea that they know him and love his stuff and 'recognize his amazing acting talent.' i hate that publicity when someone so great has been making us feel so grateful to him for years and years. i'm so scared for what will come of him now i'm true to him forever but so many stars change sooo much at this point and i would just die if anything changes about him, his acting, his movies, his spirit.

I don't think it will, he's bright and talented enough to know when not to cross the line.It would be stupid if the suddenly started to make teen movies or just movies for the money.
He could've done it long time ago, teen movies and talk about his relation with Kirsten and everything, he didn't.
Plus, it's just an Oscar nomination, which is a great big deal but if he changes just cause a nomination(considering he's sure to have more than one) then he has absolutely no brains.

Jake won't change and I can assure this nomination won't hurt his public persona.

I heard he is a front runner for Harvey Dent in a possible Batman sequel....i dont think i like that idea, as much as i love Batman, Jake just wouldnt be right IMO.

i don't think he will change; i just have these horrible images of the public projection of him; like "his celebrity growing...and getting better work" from an entry before. i personally think his portfolio so far is almost flawless. there's no way he can get better work than fall 2005. i'm afraid he'll be getting offers from paramount pictures and everything ridiculous that comes along with things like that. i think even if he stays the same and looks for the same roles and works the same way, the media will project an image of him something that he isn't and doesn't want to be.
but i might just be fearing for the worst possible [KNOCK ON WOOD].
