I'm nearly positive that neither of them is, mikeijames. I have never read anything about it, and if you look again, they actually have quite similar features.

As far as I know, they are full brother and sister (same dad, same mom).

Jake is just the cutest, his sister is gorgeous as well, i loved her in Mona Lisa smile, great actress, and he is a great actor 2, did you know, i was watching the movie city slickers the other day, and at the end, when Billy crystal gets back from the trip and brings the pig and meets his family outside the airport or whatever, i screamed at my sister and shouted"OMG THAT WAS JAKE GYLLENHAAL" lol, she looked at me like i was crazy, she had no idea what i was saying, and i told her that the kid playing Billie's kid was Jake, just a random piece of memory i wanted to share, lol just ignore me.

Oh, and by the way, just for old times sake, "five hundred dollars" anyone???

God best line in movie history by far, you gotta love it.
