nymagWith all the new faces that flood the market every season, it can be hard for any rookie to truly stand out. But newcomer Jakob Wiechmann had no such problems. The German opened the spring 2009 Givenchy show as an exclusive. Thanks to Riccardo Tisci's support, Wiechmann landed two back-to-back campaigns with the label, and his career has been packed with top-notch editorial and campaign gigs. The 20-year-old has already fronted Lacoste and Tim Hamilton, and appeared in the pages of Dazed & Confused and L'Officiel Hommes. Though he'll be sitting out the fall 2010 shows in favor of school, exams, and all that cool normal stuff, he's already lined up the spring cover of German L'Officiel Hommes.
I always like the preference of education on models. So, good luck!![]()
