Get to know model, musician and quintessential cool girl Jamie Bochert with our 5 favorite facts about her below.
1. She fronts the rock band Francis Wolf, and also collaborates with the band Pagoda, founded by her long-term partner Michael Pitt. Oh, and she taught herself how to play the piano and guitar, nbd.
2. She preps for Fashion Week by eating and sleeping. A girl after our own hearts, she is.
3. Not only does she strongly resemble Patti Smith (the inspiration behind our Fall 2015 collection), but she once played backup at one of Smith’s concert in Paris.
4. She reportedly only models to pay the bills, and previously quit the business for five years to concentrate on her music.
5. Last but not least, she directed the cameraman who was filming her backstage our Fall 2015 show, telling him to “move up the camera” because it wasn’t a “flattering angle.” Amazing.
