Jane Fonda

Hey Nel16, I love your old Hollywood stars page!

Jane was a really beautiful actress, a clever woman and she's still gorgeous
In her first years she reminds me of a young BB... No wonder Vadim marry her

Jane is absolutely beautiful in the first French film she made for Roger Vadim, La Ronde (not the greatest film, but Jane is divine in it!)

^ I really liked it! Just took a while to finish. :)

Thanks for the gorgeous pics, Lucy!

Hmm, it's been a while since I've read it. I don't remember getting that vibe from her, but of course she has had a lot of tough stuff in her life happen like her mom's suicide, her strained relationship with her dad, her exploitative relationship with Vadim, and people villainizing her for her politics, that kind of stuff - she doesn't shy away from talking about any of it. But I suppose it depends on your interpretation of what she says.

Most people I've heard about who have read the book really like it though and find Jane to be a very inspirational woman.

Amazing pictures :woot: I especially love the magazine covers in the first post. Thanks pipoca!

Mark Shaw’s file of “test shots” was full of budding stars; these December 1958 head shots of Jane Fonda were never published.
