21 year-old Jason Anthony was scouted a number of times whilst a high school but listened to his mother’s advice and didn’t sign with an agency until he graduated.
The 6’2″ South African made his catwalk debut aged 19 walking for brands including Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Fendi, Dsquared2, Louis Vuitton and Givenchy. He landed his first ad campaign for Dior Homme FW14 quickly followed by Salvatore Ferragamo FW14, Philipp Plein FW14 and G Givenchy FW14!
Jason has since become a catwalk favourite whilst his editorial credits including Hercules Universal, Sportswear Intl, Vogue Russia, Vogue Paris and DSECTION.

How were you scouted: I was scouted a few times during my high school days but my mother said I couldn’t get into it until I had graduated. Once I did I set up appointments at a few agencies and I signed with the one I felt most comfortable with. It turned out to be the best thing. Mama’s advice was golden, as usual.
What’s your best feature: My feet. They fit into most footwear without too much effort…

If you were not modeling, what would you be doing?: Studying
If you got to relive one day in your modeling career it would be…: Walking down my first catwalk in Europe for Dolce & Gabbana. The thrill I got from that was one of my most cherished in my career so far.
How would you describe happiness? Living aware and in the present moment. Bringing happiness to others and living life to its full potential.
Who has been the most influential person in your modelling career to date? My old agent; he introduced me to my agencies in Europe and helped me navigate my way through the industry. But of course everyone one plays their part, i’m grateful for all my agencies hard work.
