two from an editorial called 'sogno romantico' in flair (what is flair?)

This has to be my most favourite edito ever! I  it! I have all the images from it saved on my computer and look at them periodically!

I hadn't seen this thread, but posted a while back about the stylist who seems to have worked with him a lot : http://www.thefashionspot.com/forums/showthread.php?t=28698 - Sissy Vian styled the "sogno romantico" shoot but I had no idea he was the photographer.

ps. Flair is an Italian magazine, usually comes packaged with a supplement (like Vogue Italia) I love so many shoots that come out of it, but it's not always so easy to find.

amazing pictures:woot: thanks anna karina and everybody for the pictures:heart:
i love those 3 photoshoots too:

that's funny stilista, i didn't notice your thread either:blush:
thanks for the information about flair, i saw the new issue in the magazines section some time ago and it looks very tempting. unfortunately i can't seem to get it here.

mirrra, thanks for the 'new' pictures, they are so rich and clean at the same time. what an amazing photographer!

i thought it might be interesting to see what changes his work has undergone, so i scanned some pictures from vogue italia 1985

Estella thanks for scanning those... I am amazed because they are undeniably timeless. The one change I've noticed in his work is that his photos now look modern and crisp... in 1985 they looked like they could be from any time at all (and before reading, I actually thought they were new!)... it's interesting.

And thank you for the link:bounce:

you're very welcome, i agree about the timelessness of the earlier images. what actuall surprises me is how much his newer work comes across as 'young' probably because it's so modern, you would never guess he's been around for so long...

WOW!!! I really really like these . . . his use of light is incredible!
