mmh,i never really noticed this lack of pictures...the only explanation i can think of is that jean´s carreer was rather short due to her early death-only 7 years.if you look at joan crawfoed or bette davis for example their carreers lasted 3 decades and even longer.another point is that at least here in europe she´s not really that famous or popular anymore .if you would ask people on the street most of them would´t even know her name or if they ´d do so they wouldn´t have seen any of her movies and have no picture of her in mind.if you mention the expression "platinum blonde" EVERYBODY would immediately think of marilyn monroe and not jean harlow.she´s of course still popular among cineasts,but besides that ....i don´t know about her popularity in the usa though.
ebay is probably the best source to find a huge variety of pictures...

In the Bavarian party photo it's Swanson, Davies, Constance Bennett, and Harlow! Perhaps Bennett didn't read on the invite that it was a Bavarian party. She looks annoyed at her lack of costume.
