Jean Shrimpton

I think that tan was for Paris Vogue who were HUGE on that Donatella V tan, check their covers from 67-68. It's a bit over the top for me too but I think she manages to work it. Do you reckon it's spray on?

Aha, you're right, I think it probably is a spray-on tan. So tan, so fast! LOL

yeah, beautiful! I love the pose. Never seen this cover before, thank you.

you're welcome :flower: i've never seen it before either, just found it minutes ago and just fell in love with her all over again :crush:

These are from US Vogue August 1968 and quite rightly titled, the prettiest girl in the world look. By Avedon. Of course! Think she should have got the cover of this issue but it went to Joanna Shimkus. Scanned by me and from my blog. youthquakers

My scans, by Norman Parkinson for Vogue 1963 :flower:

I wonder how she looks these days? I saw her a few years back on some TV show but not at all since...it is time for a major magazine article about her, I would think! BTW- Bailey looks awful recently.... :(

i saw her in a tv show as well, it was posted a long time ago in this thread, not quite sure if it's the same you're talking about though. anyway, she wasn't looking bad at all - aged, of course, but still very cute, like a sweet grandma, you know?
and i agree about the article, i'd love to see one!
