*vogue.co.ukPRADA GOES FISHERJENNA FISHER is the new kid on the catwalking block. Since the big cheeses at Miu Miu requested that she star exclusively in the label's spring/summer 2002 catwalk show, the 16-year-old fledgling model has gone from strength to strength. "She just shot the new Prada campaign with Steven Meisel and she is on option for tons of other shoots," says Becky Southwick, editorial booker at Select models. There's only one problem. "It's very difficult to fit them in as she's still based in Preston studying for her A Levels," Southwick adds. Nonetheless Jenna, who was first spotted at The Clothes Show in 2000, is planning to make modelling her full-time career once she completes her studies. Now fronting the spring/summer campaign for Paul & Joe, she is up for the new string of Moschino ads, too - all because she epitomises the new must-have model look. "So many of the clothes this season are very gypsy-inspired and Jenna's look really compliments that," Southwick goes on. "She's tall and slim and really fresh and beautiful. She's just so different from the really young, goofy-looking models that have been around for so long, and I think that's why everyone is going so mad for her." (4 January 2002, AM)
Hmm....not enough for me to form an opinion just yet.
