Her mother, Christina Yamamoto, is of Japanese, Spanish, Dominican descent and her father, Dr. Karamo Chilombo, is of African, Jewish, Yaqui, Choctaw, Cherokee, Navajo descent.[6][7] She mostly says she is Japanese, African American, Native American based on percentages, but identifies with all of her ethnicities.[8] She has four older full-siblings named Miyoko, Jamila, Jahi, and Miyagi. She also has three half-siblings (two older and one younger) through her father's side named Marcia, Dio, and Kareena.
