Toronto-born Joanna Hillman has come a long way since her time studying Art History at the University of Western Ontario, located in rural Canada. From Toronto to New York, she landed a gig working alongside power-force Lori Goldstein, eventually working as her long-term assistant, where she was exposed to the world of high-fashion, working with international photographers such as Richard Avedon, Annie Leibovitz and Bruce Weber. From stylists assistant to the world of editorial, Hillman landed at Teen Vogue as the Senior Fashion Market Director, a title she held for three years, covering both American and Italian markets.
