I'm not so sure, too! But according to sources on her official website, she launched her signature label 15 years ago already and the "Joanna Mastroianni S/S 07 NYC" thread is available on TFS. No other info at the moment.

My thoughts on this: This collection consists of mainly very clean shapes and cut and I kind of like that. But the thing with the reflective material is quite last season. Nevertheless, I really like the first dress in Post #2 .

Joanna Mastrioanni started her career on 7th Avenue in Manhattan after graduating from the Fashion Institute of Technology, where she launched her own label in evening dresses. Designing for more than 15 years, she has been interested in fashion from an early age. Her first garments were Barbie doll dresses sold out of her house in Queens. Local girls would come to dress up their dolls and buy cocktail dresses for a quarter and gowns for 50 cents. Mastrioanni’s designs gained recognition in the fashion industry almost immediately. She had windows at Bergdorf Goodman during her first season in business and grew her name further when Michelle Pfieffer wore one of her sexy gowns in the movie Tequila Sunrise. She was also invited back to FIT a few years ago as a design critic for eveningwear classes. if it's the person i am thinking of...and i think it is...
this is VERY different for her...
...kind of odd...

seems like she is courting the red carpet crowd...
not bad in terms of that...
