"How you doin'?" In this short film we give you a little peak into the world of Joey Rogers. The filim was captured by Cecilie Harris during her editorial with Joey at Supa Model Management for our latest issue "The Truth About Boys". In this exclusive video the editorial stills comes to life as we see the funloving Joey captured throughout the day.
Capturing Joey in this enticing video he wears Paul Smith, Kent & Curwen, Sand, Topman, Casely Hayford, Hunter Gather, Kaushal Niraula, Oliver Spencer, Richard James, and of course the exquisit Vivienne Westwood. Styled by David Nolan, he takes high end designers creating a classic, old British style while reflecting the current trends.
The concept behind the story of "Joey" was simple; to reveal more of himself, his quirky personality, his obsessions and the objects he surrounds himself with. As the first few notes of “Rumble” by Link Wray (a song Joey played for us during the shoot) kicks in, we imagine ourselves entering a dive bar in downtown New York in the 60's. The edgy guitar and smooth drum beat encapsulates Joey; a self proclaimed old soul. The atmosphere of the video is jovial, carefree and fun, which best describes Joeys down to earth and honest personality. We follow Joey through his journey of the shoot, catching glimpses of his prized possessions, his warm personality and of course that welcoming smile.
Make sure to see the editorial preview and get your hands on our latest issue to see the full 12-page spread.
