Surprised this hasn't been posted yet. Some nice things going on here. Quite a consistent colour scheme and some lovely shapes.

DUBLIN-based John Rocha is one of the London Fashion Week schedule's most loyal names and is these days known as much for his clothes as his crystal and homeware lines - but despite his veteran status his clothes maintain a young, unique appeal. A piece of Rocha crochet, either a beret, a pair of tights, a long skinny scarf or a shawl/jacket hybrid, definitely made it onto next season's wishlists. The anemone bags were sweet too - in black or white, with scalloped ruffles that reappeared later on the back hem of jackets. Not so stunning were the shapeless tunics, despite re-and-reappearing, but much more appealing were the full skirts with wide panelled waistbands and a touch of drawstring randomly pulling them into unusual shapes. The show was perhaps not varied enough to justify its length, but Rocha is a popular man in fashion and the maxi coats, trapeze jackets and bubble skirts were certainly worth the wait. wow, i certainly foresee a lot of these things finding their way to my wardrobe next season  very loveable + wearable.

Wow I loved this collection! I especially liked the first black dress here...it was interesting

Wow, loads of looks different from his past collections.
It gets yummier as I scroll down, but can't help thinking of CDG on several pieces.

Yeah, I'm wondering tht too, perhaps cos the designers of his "generation" in London, or to say, designers under tht influence(dunno wht's its name) did similar style at tht time tht he couldn't stand out, and he don't got tht commercial support for ads like Lanvin.

Yes John Rocha is like a LFW heavyweight. Unfortunately, he hasn't garnered enough press/commercial attention. It's hard to get hold of his designs in London let alone anywhere outside the UK! (unless it's his diffusion line at Debenhams which is actually pretty decent!)

susie...i have never actually seen it in person anywhere..
i remember he got some hype some years ago...
but then quickly faded into the background again....

i am guessing he doesn't have the financial backing he needs to grow the company...:ermm:...

i am thinking it would do quite well in japan actually...

Well developed collection on all fronts. Should have had more press, agreed.
Perhaps he's not one for the PR circus. Some very covetable pieces.
Thanks Bubble.

so lovely. his knitwear, as well as his whole perspective, is an inspiration.

this is really incredible. Why did i never paid attention to him before?

apparently he's not doing so bad though - he has jewelry and houseware (?) lines.

does anyone know if he has a website? i looked around but couldn't find.

thanks, m.
