his interview on letterman cracked me up. i think david asked him like 80 questions and johnny would only respond with two word sentences

It´s so silly that he insists on dressing like a hobo for premieres. Angelina dressed up and JOhnny in ragged jeans. We get it.... you´re a rebel, now do get a suit.

I can't figure out his attitude towards "The Tourist". He seems almost mocking or something. He obviously does "Pirates" for money and for his kids, and he likes the character I suspect. But why do "The Tourist"? Did he believe in it? He has stated outright that he sometimes chooses "Hollywood" or bigger projects for the payoff in order to finance and do smaller projects, though he really hasn't done anything "smaller" lately. Not sure where he's at career-wise and thinking wise but I am curious. Also, yeah, his shabby look is kind of overdone now; I am sick of it. Enough with the scarfs and chains and hats. Too many accessories Johnny - he should simplify!! Even if he doesn't don a suit, surely he could put on a simple black sweater and some nice jeans and leave it at that. I agree with LolaSvelt; he looked best in the 90s. Like this:
