I just saw a clip on WGN where the news anchor (who briefly interviewed Depp) said he's never seen a celebrity as devoted to his fans as Johnny Depp. Apparently Johnny signed autographs for every single fan along an entire block! I don't mean to kiss his a** here (or maybe I do ) but that truly is unprecedented behavior for a celebrity - Christian Bale didn't even go over to the fans lined up; he didn't sign a single autograph.

Anyways when interviewed Johnny said that Chicago is a wonderful city and pointed to the fans saying "they're the ones that pay the bills, they're the boss"

ARGH! How annoying!

I had a similar experience back in '05.
We never get any good premieres in Australia, like no chances whatsoever to see anyone good.
But I happened to be in London around the time Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was coming out. I had my eyes ears EVERYTHING peeled for any news about a premiere............it opened the weekend AFTER I left. I was devastated.
What's worse is I had told friends about it while I was there and so they went instead- and sent me photos. He was literally 2 metres away from them. Life can be so cruel.

His personality just makes him that much more sexy. I mean, signing autographs for every fan? He is just so real, and sweet. I love when people don't feel the need to be a total a**, and take joy in being nice.
