My boyfriend's best friend's daughter knows Jojo (they hung out over the summer at a friend's beach house) and says she is so full of herself and very rude. My friend who works in California met her backstage (he's 30) and said the same thing about her. Too bad, she has a great voice...

have you seen mtv crips (or however that show was called). when i watched hers, i thought the same about her

Why did they come to that conclusion?

The girl who hung out with her at the beach house wasn't really a fan of hers, but she knew who she was. At the time, they were both 14. When the girl was introduced to JoJo she said something like this:

Girl - "Hey, I'm Jaime I'm 14 just like you. Well, I heard you're 14 too, right?"
JoJo - "Noooo, really!"

She said she said it with such attitude. It just seemed very rude and not called for at all. The poor girl was just introducing herself, since they were going to spend the weekend (or was it week? I forget) together. She said the rest of the weekend, JoJo pretty much had the same attitude. The girl said she's just so full of herself and thinks that the world revolves around her.

Also, the guy I know who met JoJo backstage said she just had this 'I am so much better than you' attitude, even though she was 14 at the time and this guy was in his 30's. He was working at the show and just wanted to say hi, since he liked her music (he's really into pop music).

She does have a valid point.. But still.. it seems as though she's implying that SHE is a good singer.. Which she is.. But coming from a 13 year old (then) and saying that on national television.. She seems rather full of herself.

I don't know. That comment always bothered me..
