- There's a similar article in yesterday's Sydney Confidential about Joe's newest romance. The pic below shows Natalie in the Sydney production of Les Miserables 1997. She played Eponine.
Aussie girl's Fiennes romance
She could just be the luckiest girl in the world. Sydney singer/actor Natalie Mendoza has reportedly moved in with British hunk Joseph Fiennes after the pair fell in love on a Queensland film set. According to the reports, Fiennes, who starred opposite Cate Blanchett in Elizabeth and Gwyneth Paltrow in Shakespeare in Love fell for his sexy co-star while filming The Great Raid last year.
Mendoza, who appeared on stage here in Les Miserables and Miss Saigon as well as working alongside Nicole Kidman, Christine Anu and Caroline O'Connor in Moulin Rouge, was once engaged to singer David Campbell, son of Jimmy Barnes. Hong Kong-born Mendoza is said to have moved into Fiennes' pad in Notting Hill, West London, in September of last year. According to The Sun, the relationship started just a matter of weeks after Fiennes split up from his girlfriend of two years, make-up artist Fiona Jolly. A source close to the actor told the British newspaper: "He was pretty upset when he split from Fiona and wasn't looking for another relationship. But he hit it off with Natalie straight away. "Things happened quickly after and Natalie moved to London in September. They are very serious about each other."
Mendoza might be remembered as one half of the pop outfit Jackson Mendoza, which she formed with her sister Rebecca. Rebecca hit the headlines in January 1999 when she suffered a stroke from massive blood loss after she was stabbed in the heart by her estranged husband Marlon Brand who committed suicide after the attack.

- The Sun Online of today reports the following:
Joseph Fiennes has fallen for the sexy co-star in his latest film.
The Shakespeare In Love actor is romancing Natalie Mendoza after they met on the set of The Great Raid in Australia last August. Hong Kong-born Natalie moved into Joseph's pad in Notting Hill, West London, a month later.
The relationship started just weeks after Joseph split from his girlfriend of two years, make-up artist Fiona Jolly. A source close to Joseph says: "He was pretty upset when he split from Fiona and wasn't looking for another relationship. "But he hit it off with Natalie straight away. Things happened quickly after that and Natalie moved to London in September. They are very serious about each other." Natalie is a well-known stage actress in Australia, appearing in productions such as Miss Saigon. She also had a small part in the Oscar-winning Moulin Rouge! alongside Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor.
Finding love on set is nothing new for the Fiennes family. Joseph's brother Ralph fell for Francesca Annis while they were both starring in West End play Hamlet in 1994.
The Great Raid is due out later this year.
