ever since some hinted that this man could helm alexander mcqueen, i can't help but notice through lines between his work and that of the late mcqueen. there's a theatricality that very few designers manage to deliver on this level while maintaining relevance. the skirts and jackets in particular could spice up everything from a cotton tank to a pair of boyfriend jeans.
I'm in love with the dresses. They have this ancient roman/greek vibe I absolutely adore, and their aesthetic is very feminine. I'm not a fan of the tribaltattoo-/razor-like patterns, though, they feel very dated (late 90s) to me, and not in a good way. Still, his focus on the waist is nice (it simply looks great )
