Julia Hafstrom

Gorgeous cover! She looks incredible, I really agree about her looking great even with the crazy styling and makeup, love it!

^ So strong in print. It is really exceptional how good she looks with even the craziest makeup, styling, she has the makings of a great print model. That cover is sensational!

Yes, it's incredible. Her face is the perfect palette. I have yet to see a look that does not work on her...

Amazing cover, can't wait for an editorial or whatever it's inside:p

She doesn't seem to do well during the show seasons, I guess that could be because of her height, but it's great to see that she's still getting high end print work which I hope translate to lots of campaigns for F/W 2010

Hello people of the world!

Funny thing my pic of Julia would end up here... (not really!?) ;o)
Tell me Señor Pacific Blue, how did you find it...? Google...?

Julia is in New York at the moment (now you know where to look).

Have a swell weekend!

Yours truly,
TheCokeBadger (aka. Niklas with a K)

Wow, that’s quite of a surprise! Internet is amazing. Sorry to have misspelled your name Niklas. Actually I recognized Julia time ago on some sort of blog, while looking for pics on the Swedish town of Malmö.

I liked your work. I remember asking myself if you were a professional photographer. I loved that very expressive pic, with the perfect fit between the subject, the background, the focus, and the softness of the colors. The name you had given to the pic was “Dream of a star”, if I remember well.

There was in particular another one from Julia that I did not take, but liked a lot too: a picture in B&W where she was only to be guessed by the staring lenses of the photographers in front of her.

I tried to find them again before posting last night ( when trying to impress Baxxxton... :p) but Google failed me.

No swell for me this weekend: for the time being I have had enough of clear blue skies, gentle trade winds, smiling people, tropical islands and raw fish. I crave for mountains and snow. I fly to Canada...

Feel free to drop me a mail : [email protected] (Julia can drop me a mail too. :-) :innocent:)

All the best,

- R

Julia can drop me a mail aswell

I love the cover btw!

I dot not agree on the cover, Baxxxton.

While I am at it BTW, she gave me her phone number. She feels so lonely sometimes. Did you think that it is easy to be an iconic object, folks ? Maybe there is a very nice person behind these amazing images, you know. Let's see ^_^

i heard this season was pretty tough for her -- its a nasty world - the turnover of girls is so fast on the runway... one season everyone wants you then the next...not so...
