She's ranked on the Industry Icons list of MDC now, doesn't it seem too early too soon? she's only been around about 2-3 years. I don't mean she doesn't deserve the place , it's just couldn't MDC wait for another 2 years ?

She's been in HF as long as Joan Smalls, so I'd say it's appropriate. Her accomplishments are sort of staggering.

I'm really interested to see how Julia is perceived ten years down the line. I mean sure, all the Insta-girls are grabbing the headlines and dominating social media and making a big mark. But I feel like Julia will always be seen as a sort of underdog supermodel, the one who really did all that a HF model could do in the early-to-mid 2010's.

She's actually been around for 5-6 years, debuting at Calvin Klein F/W 10. I think those lists are a mess anyway.

I'm not sure how she'll be remembered as I don't think she would be modeling much longer if she follows through with pursuing a career in medicine. She's already scaled back quite a bit and she's only in undergrad. But I could see her popping back up once in a while like Maggie Rizer.
