Bummer not to see her in Balenciaga I was really hoping for her to be in that show as I think she'd have suited their style rather well... but as not even girls like Jenny Sinkaberg (who seemed like the safest bet for me) showed up I try to tell myself they were looking for "something else" this season

Over the years, we have met lots of fantastic Australian models. The girls are usually bubbly and fun, with an inherent knack for finding great parties on the New York hipster scene. The Aussie beauties are all usually sporting an enviable tan, so when we met Julia Nobis, we were surprised to hear she hailed from the land down under. Her fair skin would lead us to believe she was from Ireland or Norway. Julia actually grew up in Sydney, near some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. We are guessing she used strong sun-block to keep her skin so perfectly porcelain!

I couldn't agree more about the "nordic (or irish)-look" thing. Really would never guess that she's from Sydney! Those digitals are heavenly - but tbh, they prove my impression about Julia, being more suitable for very few and natural make-up rather than a very "glammed up" look. I just think that heavy make-up totally ruins her natural appeal and makes her look more generic and usual.
