I love the melancholy portrayed throughout the new editorial, which amazingly showcases Julia's talent to get into a character. Her range as a model seems endless.

By the way, she was at Phillip Lim.

She caught my attention with her Roversi editorial at Interview but I wasn't sure of her but now that I have seen her this season on the runways I'm certain that I like her.

I just love her gawky, awkward, pale, cool look :p:heart:

Once again showing her versatility in the new Dazed editorial, such a haunting vibe, it's absolutely stunning!

And Proenza is perfect for her, her vibe fits the brands aesthetic to a T, happy to see her open and close there.

Actually  I disagree with you. In her ed for Russh Ratbag, her ed for Oyster issue 87 The Storm, issue 88 J is for Julia, and now this ed in Dazed and Confused she consistently portrays this melancholy look. In all these eds, in which the styling is actually near identical, she looks very much the same.

In fact I'd say the only variety she's given is in her Burberry and Marcs ads.

She's doing well so far this week I guess? :flower:

I have to say I'm a bit dissapointed that she wasn't chosen for Calvin again (would've been quite suitable among the other cast IMO) but I think her appearance + opening and closing Proenza somehow makes up for that anyway - what a gorgeous look on Julia!

I said it before in this thread (quite a few times already I think) that I'm still a bit on the fence with her in much make-up/ too much styling. But I have to admit that I think she starts to handle it rather well (like @ Marc by Marc). My favourite look on her is still Narcisco Rodriguez though  Minimalistic perfection!

Beautiful at Proenza! I think she will do good in both Milan and Paris.

 Sorry for being stubborn, but I continue to think she looks different in that editorial. In the ones you mentionned, her laid-back attitude stick out to me but no melancholy is to be seen within her expressions in my opinion, while in this very one she goes further, there's something almost heartbreaking about her gazes. Even though she maintains her effortless poise, like in every editorial of hers. Just my two cents :flower:

^ Completely agree with you Carla A.

I can think of few models who I define as versatile, but Julia is definitely one of them. Her print work always channels different moods, and is what increased my appreciation of her as a model.
