Well now that she has finished her undergrad sciene degree she will start grad medicine in a year or so and disappear from the industry so she is probably just getting in a few last seasons.

Well now that she has finished her undergrad sciene degree she will start grad medicine in a year or so and disappear from the industry so she is probably just getting in a few last seasons.

That is if she gets into medicine straight away. Post-graduate medicine in Australia is extremely competitive (like anywhere in the world) and often takes a few attempts to get into. If her GAMSAT (post-grad admissions exam) score is good enough she'll be taking time off to interview later this year.

Meh actually, the competitiveness of post grad medicine here in Aus has dropped down a lot. They have far too many places now since the fee laws changed last year that most of my friends have had no trouble getting in. She will be fine.
