im so happy that hey picked her as the new face of Maybelline!

i like Adriana Lima but not as a cosmetics model. i think the only time i really liked Maybelline ads was when Josie Maran was in them.

I feel sad saying this but Julia has gone a bit commercial
Vs catalogues , now this.. well I'm still very excited for her you know I hope she doesnt turn out to be just another commercial face(aka plastic doutzen with hardly any high fashion stuff anymore).

In fact all her campaigns this season are high fashion in fact And her last ed was in September vogue italia. Not commercial at all.

A bit? more like... a lot! Actually, she's even going down to Adriana Lima road (first VS now maybelline)
But let's see it that way: she's under contract with two of the (if not THE two) biggest commerical companies in the world as far as fashion goes so i don't really feel sorry for her
Plus she still does some high fashion work every now and then... I'm sure she's very pleased with that new turn in her career: it means less work and more money, which all models aspire to
