As to native German speakers not having much of an accent when speaking in English, yes, you'll find that to be the case with most. Modern English is a "Germanic" language. Whether its Julia, Claudia Schiffer, Heidi Klum, Michael Schumacher or some other famous--or normal--German person, it rare to hear a heavy accent.
