Thank you, I searched for him but it seems to be from his latest collection judging by his blog images.

I never heard of him though and it seems like he only did a presentation in New York and eventhough I kind of think she could have worn a dress by someone with a bigger name although she likes to support new designers I'm kind of glad it's a nice dress and really suited for a Gala.

On the other hand I think Luca's dress is even prettier and Julia could have shown her legs too but she went for the glamourous direction and that's great too.

I met Julia yesterday!!! I was heading to Topshop in NY with my friend and saw this really tall blonde on a street corner talking to a woman and her daughter. She was really cute to them both, guess they knew each other. I had this gut feeling it was her and it was! I asked her if she was Julia Stegner (duh, she was) and she was really nice and said she had been out late the night before at the gala so she was tired. I don't think she was wearing any makeup and she still looked really stunning to me. Didn't know what to say, thinking about it now, there were a billion things I could have said but felt like I was bugging her and was kind of stunned. I've read that some people say she doesn't look very model-y in person, but I think she totally does. She's super statuesque and flawless and has really nice hair , not to mention supremely nice and friendly!!!

Of course she looks modelesque alone because of her height and figure but she tends to wear no makeup and of course she must look different than on the runways and in editorials I would say.

Sorry if that first part didn't make sense. Julia was talking to a woman and the woman's young daughter when I first spotted her, I know Julia doesn't have a kid. After the woman and her daughter left, I talked to Julia.

Of course she Julia looks different on runways and eds with her hair and makeup styled, but she looks impressive in person too IMO.
