Zu Schulzeiten wurde Julia Stegner von ihren Klassenkameraden wenig charmant „Stegosaurus“genannt. Über solche Hänseleien kann die 25-jährige inzwischen nur noch lachen. Ihre schlanke, hochgewachsene Figur ist das Kapital der jungen Münchnerin. Mit 15 wurde sie auf dem Oktoberfest von einem Modelscout entdeckt. Seitdem ist sie bei der Agentur Louisa Models unter Vertrag, die auch schon Eva Padberg und Elle McPherson berühmt machte. Für ihre steil bergauf strebende Karriere wurde Julia Stegner 2005 mit dem BAMBI in der Kategorie „Shootingstar“ ausgezeichnet. Inzwischen lebt die schöne Blondine im New Yorker East Village und gehört zur Riege der international gefragten Topmodels. „Die beste Deutsche seit der frühen Claudia Schiffer“ nennt „Kaiser“ Karl Lagerfeld Julia. Die bleibt sympathisch bescheiden und bodenständig, und wenn sie in New York die Heimat vermisst, dann gibt’s auch dort mal Sauerkraut und Bratwürste. Seit Januar 2009 ist Julia Stegner das neue Aushängeschild für die Mercedes Benz Fashionweek in Berlin. Zudem läuft sie für großen Modelabels wie Versace, Gucci, Doce&Gabbana, Dior und Hugo Boss.

I meant the font, sorry that was not clear.

Good to hear about the new editrial. I hope we will see more pictures.

I also have to say I really like the casual styling at the event in London while I'm not such a big fan of her look at the Bambi awards, it's a little to predictable. She has been dressing that way for too many of the latest events.
